And here is another green light for Grape-Seed Extract.
More and more info like this comes in every week.
And it's good that researchers are taking it seriously.
Grape-Seed Extract Kills Leukemia Cells in Lab
An extract from grape seeds forces laboratory leukemia cells to commit cell suicide, according to researchers from the University of Kentucky. They found that within 24 hours, 76 percent of leukemia cells had died after being exposed to the extract.
The investigators, who report their findings in the January 1, 2009, issue of Clinical Cancer Research, a journal of the American Association for Cancer Research, also teased apart the cell signaling pathway associated with use of grape seed extract that led to cell death, or apoptosis. They found that the extract activates JNK, a protein that regulates the apoptotic pathway.

Ayuruvedic Cures
Although this article is about AIDS patients, the same techniques can also be applied to cancer.
And to have an immune system restored through Ayurvedic treatment and to have that documented by the medicine minister of the country is no small feat.
Ayuruvedic cures for AIDS patients
by Melani Manel Perera
The minister for traditional medicine illustrates for parliament the results of Ayurvedic cures. In addition to people infected with HIV, those sick with cancer, asthma, and kidney problems also see benefits from treatments applied according to a millennia-old tradition that is very widespread in the country.

I keep hearing more and more about Ayurvedic since Deepak Chopra.
It may be worth pursuing.

'Shocking' New Study Suggests Breast Cancer Sometimes Cures Itself | MedHeadlines
'Shocking' New Study Suggests Breast Cancer Sometimes Cures Itself | MedHeadlines:
"Medical history is dotted with stories of cancers vanishing without a trace and without any treatment, either. Once considered medical oddities, a new study suggests more cancers go away without treatment than would be expected. The theory, however, is quite difficult to prove conclusively because almost every cancer detected is treated aggressively, leaving no opportunity to explore spontaneous regressions.
Leading the study were Dr. Jan Maehlen, of the Ulleval University Hospital, Oslo, Norway; Dr. H. Gilbert Welch, of the Dartmouth Medical School in Vermont; and Dr. Per-Henrik Zahl, of Norway’s Institute of Public Health. The research team compared mammogram records of women, all between 50 and 64 years old, for the six-year period from 1992 till 1997 and from 1996 till 2001. Norway first started using mammography in 1996."

The Cure for Cancer?
Diet and Cancer, we keep hearing that.
Even Doctors in the US are coming around to the idea.
But wouldn't it be ironic and poetic in a way, if a 15-year-old kid actually discovered the cure.....
THE CURE FOR CANCER? Documentary Film Defies the American Medical Community's Prescribed Treatments for Cancer and Chronic Disease
An inspirational journey of a boy who sets out to investigate the direct link between diet and disease and in the process discovers the world's simplest cure for cancer: THE BEAUTIFUL TRUTH, written and directed by Steve Kroschel, will premiere at The Quad Cinema in New York City on November 14, 2008 with a platform release to follow.
Film critic Ronnie Scheib of Variety says the film is "courting controversy." The NYCMovieGuru, Avi Offer sees the film as "a vital, provocative and enlightening documentary. You'll be talking about it for weeks!"
Hailing from a small town in Alaska, 15-year-old Garrett lives on a wild animal reserve. After the accidental and tragic death of his mother, Garrett began spiraling downward. His father withdrew him from school to prevent him from flunking out, after which he was home-taught. Garrett's father recognized his son's interest in the dietary habits of their animals and assigned a book written by Dr. Max Gerson, which maintains that there is a direct link between diet and a cure for cancer.

Vitamin D for cancer
Vitamin D for cancer
It sounds too good to be true ? a little inexpensive pill that could block the development of some cancers, strengthen bones, prevent multiple sclerosis and alleviate winter depression.
But it's not science fiction. The "new aspirin" could be Vitamin D. Just as we discovered that aspirin can guard against heart disease, Vitamin D could become a useful weapon in the fight against MS, osteoporosis, mild depression and one of the most devastating diseases of our time - cancer.
"As time has gone by, Vitamin D has raised its head as a sort of ambrosia for cancers," says Dr. Louise Parker, an epidemiologist and a world expert in the environmental exposures that can lead to cancer. Or, in the case of Vitamin D, the lack of exposure.
